adidas Originals presents the P.O.D-S3.1 in two new colorways this week, rendering the futuristic running silhouette in a duo of clean, tonal treatments.
Assuming a simple adaptive mesh construction with welded 3-stripes overlays, the P.O.D-S3.1’s sock-fit construction is reinforced by a fabric lace panel and heel tab. This sits on the shoe’s unique split midsole tooling, with supportive EVA in the forefoot and BOOST cushioning in the heel, connected by a midfoot unit inspired by a torsion system. Finishing touches include a durable rubber outsole and branding details.
For this installment, the P.O.D-S3.1 will release in two colorways; Grey and Lavender. With their minimalist color treatments, each shoe allows the P.O.D-S3.1’s distinctive design language to come to the fore, highlighting how the shoe’s fearless blend of referential design and contemporary tech has come together to create one of 2018’s most exciting new silhouettes.
